Academic Excellence at Union County High School Union County High School offers a comprehensive and challenging academic program designed to prepare students for success in college, careers, and life beyond graduation. Our core curriculum provides a strong foundation in English, mathematics, science, and social studies, with opportunities for students to pursue honors, dual enrollment, and CLEP coursework for college credit. In addition to core subjects, students can explore a variety of enriching electives in fine arts, foreign language, wellness, and physical education. From visual and performing arts to advanced sciences and college-level humanities, UCHS encourages every student to discover their strengths, think critically, and achieve their personal best. At UCHS, academic excellence is not only expected—it’s supported, celebrated, and built into everything we do.

Career and Technical Education

Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides students with career-focused programs that integrate academic and technical knowledge to prepare them for high-demand careers and postsecondary education. It uses a structured pathway of courses, often incorporating hands-on, work-based learning like internships, to help students develop real-world skills, solve industry-based problems, and gain practical experience before entering the workforce or higher education.
